Sanditon Is Returning for Seasons Two and Three

news, tv

It’s official! Sanditon is returning for seasons two and three. Charlotte Heywood will be returning to the seaside resort where her heart once broke and hopefully, this time, she’ll get the happiness that she deserves. The announcement was made earlier this morning on Twitter followed by an official statement by Red Planet TV, the company that had initially cancelled the series. And we’d be remiss not to mention the coincidence of the renewal. After the success of Bridgerton and the four season renewal, are network executives finally understanding the importance of happy endings and the detail that no one wants

‘Bridgerton’ is Returning for Seasons Three and Four

news, tv

We have had full faith in the series and its potential since before season one even aired and early renewal news as such is always proof of the fact that people want happy endings. The announcement came at the crack of dawn for those of us here on the West Coast and let me tell you—it was a fine thing to be rewarded with on an otherwise random Tuesday. Bridgerton’s success is beautiful for a number of reasons and at the top of the list is because romance centered stories understand the importance of happiness. Romance is no longer a

‘LOKI’ Trailer is Here and We Have A Million Questions

news, tv

Yesterday Marvel dropped the new Black Widow trailer and today, we’ve got the Loki trailer, which is still two months too far away and we’re impatient. The best part of all this? We have no idea what is happening and judging by how well WandaVision handled our confusion with an incredible series, this oddly fills us with a strange sense of hope. Loki stealing the tesseract, his one true love, has naturally screwed with time and they now need his help to restore everything. No, he does not get a weapon. No, he is not fully trusted. Yes, he is

Summoning Light: ‘Shadow and Bone’ Trailer is Here and It’s Explosive

news, tv

Gone are the days where Netflix released trailers a week before the production’s release date and we’re not even remotely mad about this change–still weeks to go until the release of its next big fantasy, the Shadow and Bone trailer is here and it’s explosive. It also comes with a few surprising twists like the fact that the pronunciation of kruge, Ketterdam money, isn’t as people thought it was in their heads. It’s the little things, it really is. Shadow and Bone is based on Leigh Bardugo’s best selling trilogy featuring fan favorites from other duologies, which as we can

Toss a Coin to the Newest Additions of ‘The Witcher’ Cast

news, tv

Who doesn’t love exciting casting announcements full of familiar faces we adore!? We sure do. The Witcher twitter just dropped a plethora of new faces to the second season and to say that we’re excited is an understatement. It seems as though its been eons that the second season has been filming due to Covid-19 delays, but this news at least brings us one step closer to a release date and that’s getting us through right now.

‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Will Wrap After Season 8 and We’re Not Ready

news, tv

I’ve written and deleted this too many times because it never felts right. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is set to end after its eighth season and I have way too many feelings about this.  This show is more than just a procedural comedy—it’s a celebration of humanity and inclusivity. For eight years, it has constantly gotten better. (Don’t even at me because we all know the last season is going to be downright perfect, too. Especially since writers have scrapped the material they previously had written in order to bring to light the police brutality against Black lives today.) This show has

Sesily Talbot’s Story is Finally Coming August 2021 in a New Book Series by Sarah MacLean

news

We have obviously discussed our love for the Bridgerton series and Julia Quinn’s novels in great length, but what we have not screamed about is our love for Sarah MacLean or her Scandal and Scoundrel series. (We’ll get there counting down to the new release!) But if you have yet to read Sarah MacLean’s historical romance novels, we are here to persuade you to rectify that stat because she has a new book coming–Bombshell. The Rogue Not Taken, the first in its installment of the Scandal and Scoundrel series is one of my favorite historical romance books I’ve ever read.
