Spoilers Ahead When we left our favorites in Wonderland, Will’s selfless decision to wish for Alice’s happiness turned him into the new genie and forced Cyrus and Alice to work closely with the Red Queen to find him before Jafar does. “Happily ever after can’t just be for us, it has to be for everyone, for all of wonderland.” As for the episode’s and show’s entire theme, this particular quote was said remarkably by our beloved Alice and as far as plot twists and character development goes, this may have been the best episode yet.

Spoilers ahead: Flashbacks: This week’s flashbacks gave viewers a further glimpse into Cyrus and Alice’s relationship in the past. As they were stargazing and being adorable, Cyrus reveals that he wasn’t always a genie thus, justifying the notion that it’s something anyone can become. When they’re attacked by three men and Alice injures herself while fighting, Cyrus takes her to the rabbit’s house where his wife tries to revive her. Spoilers ahead: Tonight’s episode proved that Alice is in fact purest at heart and villains will do anything in their power to destroy the lives of heroes (including torturing a poor rabbit).
