Everything’s a Blur for Our Titular Character in This Anna Pigeon Episode 5 Sneak Peek (Exclusive)

Tracy Spiridakos in Anna Pigeon Episode 5

It’s non-stop danger and one traumatic event after the next for Tracy Spiridakos’ titular character in Anna Pigeon. After last week’s “Hell Is Other People,” where we still have very little progress on her memories, she’s now in an even bigger bind than before. Quite literally, in this exclusive Episode 5 sneak peek from USA Network, where she wakes up at the bottom of a ravine, hazy and clearly uncertain of how she got there.

Was she thrown inside? Did she fall? What does the flash of a memory mean as we watch Ryan Northcott’s Geoff Miller seemingly yell at her? The episode’s brief teaser also showcased that this one’s bound to be a big one for Anna as everyone in the park goes searching for her. It seems too simple to think that maybe Kim Coates’ Jeremiah Paulson had anything to do with it, but could the episode finally unveil some of the puzzle pieces to her fractured memory of her husband’s death? Or will this make matters worse?

Regardless, five episodes in, Anna Pigeon continues to be one of the most compelling new procedurals on TV. It’s not only refreshing to get a new and thrilling case every week, but the more we get to know Spiridakos’ character on an intimate level, the easier it is to continue appreciating her.

Season 1, Episode 5, interestingly titled “The Rope,” is undoubtedly going to be one of the most exhilarating ones we get in the season, and that much is already obvious from the sneak peek. While they’ve all been great thus far, none have drawn as much focus to Anna the way this one seems to, and with so much on the line—literally with her life for a beat—Friday can’t come soon enough.
