It’s wild to think that No Way Home, the last Spider-Man movie, was released in 2021, and that five years from that date, we’ll finally reunite with Peter Parker and the world that’s forgotten his existence in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. We’re still in the early days where we know very little about the plot and the returning characters, but we’ve still got a good chunk to hold onto.

Here’s everything we know about Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This article will be periodically updated every time there’s more news.

Who Is Returning in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

That’s the biggest question on all our minds when we’re clearly in a world where no one even knows who Peter Parker is. But we can at least breathe easy because both Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will return as MJ and Ned, respectively.

In addition to the two of them, EW confirmed that Jon Bernthal will be reprising his role as Frank Castle/the Punisher to join the web-slinging hero. There are also rumors circulating that Mark Ruffalo is set to return as the Hulk. We also have confirmation that Stranger ThingsSadie Sink will be in the film, but we don’t yet know what character she’ll be playing.

Is There a Trailer?

There’s so much happening in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, from new villains being teased to a lot more questions than answers, but that’s the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a nutshell. It’s Spider-Man in a nutshell. It’s the one part of the universe that’s so loaded and lovely and dear to me, personally, that if I sat here, I could write about it for days and hours on end. I can break down every little detail, like the way Peter looks at MJ and how it looks like her hair might be red. It’s perfect, really. The kind of trailer that makes it worth the almost five-year wait we’ve had to endure.

When Is Spider-Man: Brand New Day Coming Out?

As of right now, the film is set to release on July 31, 2026. However, we’ve been around this space long enough to know that dates can change as production begins and ends. We’ll actually accept the date once we get a teaser that features footage.

What Are We Hoping to See?

Full transparency? Personally, I just want to see Peter reunite with MJ and Ned. I want the world to remember Peter Parker. I want my little love bugs to be happy. Period. The world is a dark and scary place, and Spider-Man deserves joy. So do we.
