In a time where we’re subjected to unnecessarily long hiatuses, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is doing the opposite by delivering its third season within the same year as its Season 2 finale release. Unveiling a new poster, casting confirmations, and a teaser during its SDCC 2026 panel, we’ve got a lot of goodies to unpack with Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3.
As we know by now, the season will be inspired by Rick Riordan’s The Titan’s Curse, and it’ll give Tamara Smart’s Thalia a bigger role. Fans seated at the Hall H panel were given an exclusive sneak peek of the first few moments, and according to Deadline, the description is as follows: “She (Thalia) confronts a monster inside the parking garage, pressuring it to tell her about her former best friend’s location, and the fight is not going her way… until Percy (Walker Scobell) shows up. He helps her defeat the monster, much to her chagrin, only to find out that it’s Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) who sent him. She’s there, too, and she tries to convince Thalia to join them on their mission to collect Bianca (Olive Abercrombie) and Nico Di Angelo (Levi Chrisopulos), children of Hades, from their military boarding school.”
We also have confirmation that Hercules and Atlas have been cast, but the actors are being kept under wraps at the time. The small teaser of Scobell’s Percy Jackson that’s now available is brief, but it remains apparent that the stakes are higher than ever. There’s nothing the titular character wouldn’t do for his friends and loved ones, Annabeth especially, and the dedication remains lodged in his physical and emotional embodiment as he continues to showcase just how much the character carries.
When Does Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 Premiere?
The official premiere date will be November 20, 2026, and the show will likely follow its same weekly format, giving us plenty to look forward to with what’s also promised to be the most book-accurate season, according to Scobell.
