The music, like everything else in Off Campus, essentially defines 2026 at this point. Happy, sad, or somewhere in between, there’s thankfully a song for every emotion in the original soundtrack, and it’s a beautiful treat my ears (and Spotify) are thankful for. (Seriously, I can’t wait to see what my Wrapped looks like at the end of the year!) But when the soundtrack was first released, two notable songs were initially absent from it. Ella Bright’s cover of “Cherry Pie” by Warrant and “The B!tch Is Back” by Elton John.
However, courtesy of Blood Records, there’s now an exclusive vinyl featuring both songs, ready to be purchased.

Ella Bright’s “Cherry Pie” is also available for streaming now, and I won’t pretend it hasn’t been on replay since the release. The karaoke scene, where Hannah playfully calls out Garrett by singing the song he was listening to while he was busy doing the opposite of studying, makes for one of the best scenes on the show, so the fact that we get this version is cosmic.
Since the release of Off Campus, Ella Bright’s covers and originals written for the show have garnered millions of streams, proving that her casting is not only perfect from a character standpoint, but as a musical decision, too. Everything she brings to the table as Hannah Wells is incomparable on all fronts. Bright’s distinct voice is not only gorgeous, but it’s also all the small decisions she makes in between to add something unique to the mix.
The genius of the lyric video also can’t be topped, and the fact that this cover features her Blubaru, aka Hannah’s blue Subaru? This is how you nail marketing. Everyone can learn a thing or two about Prime Video if we’re being honest. Plus, the fact that the streaming version also starts with her teasing, “Oh, sh!t, Graham, you know this one?” Unreal. And it’s longer.
Personally, I’m still waiting for the entire soundtrack on vinyl, but for now, I’ll have “Cherry Pie” on replay to play my part in giving it the number of streams it should’ve gotten by releasing alongside the official mixtape, which also features songs from After Hours, the fictional band Josh Heuston’s Justin is in.
